How to avoid yeast infection?

Yeast infection in the vagina may cause unnecessary irritation and subsequent swelling. It is said that out of every 4 women, 3 are infected with yeast in their vagina. There are some ways in which you can treat yeast infection which can be used generally as effective bacterial vaginosis treatment. They are the following;
- Avoid wearing tight fitted cloths and those made of synthetic materials. They induce the growth of yeast in the vagina.
- Wearing cotton panties is the best option, in normal times as well as during menstruation.
- Never use a blower to dry up the genital area near vagina. It may induce the growth of yeast in your vagina.
- After using the toilet, it is always recommended that your wipe from front to back. There are bacteria that live in your rectum. They can enter into your vagina if you do the reverse movement.
- Wet swimsuits and damp clothes must be removed as early as possible.
- Feminine douche and hygiene sprays are harmful, for the vagina. The best way is to avoid them. Deodorant sanitary pads should not be used.
- Using colored toilet paper is harmful they seem to affect the acid balance in the vagina and cause yeast infection.
